    Post ''Patching failed. Error 0x80043038''

    Hi IC team !

    I just got home and was going to happily play a few matches until i noticed that my game it's not patching. From the begining i had issues similar to this, which is why i read a thread somewhere that said to run the software as an admin which as work ever since until now. When this error happens it just shows up and if i press ok it suddenly closes, without ever reaching the game opening screen.

    Here is the screenshot ;

    I hope you can provide me a quick solution, since im looking forward to continue playing here.

    Greetings! Can you please try and re-install the game and see if you receive this error again. Thank you.

    Can you both try this

    -go to control panel
    -go to internet options
    -go to connections tab
    -click on LAN settings
    -uncheck "use a proxy for LAN"

    if it works let us know

    Had the same problem. It stopped when I ran the program as administrator. But now the patch always bugs at around 65kb for some reason. It just stops downloading!

    I just tried opening again before running any of the solutions you gave us and surprisingly it did work this time. Seems like it reinstalled the game automatically. Anyways thanks for the response and also i'm using windows 8 and the configuration was a bit different for my internet connection but i didn't had the Proxy/Lan option checked either.

    i manage to resolve the issue with the 3rd reinstall seems like the 2nd reinstall is cause by a bad copy of the installer . So there you go the solution is to reinstall the game , also next time comes maintenance or patch wait for it to stabilize first before u start patching or else if ur client gets screwed up ur gonna need to reinstall all over again.

    Ok, i guess i will just reinstall for next time from scratch so i can have a clean installation and hopefully no problems at all, seems like the best way to go with this type of issues. Again thanks for the all the support.
