Imagine trying to engage on a 5 man poke comp that all had traps. It's also hilarious in lane if both laners have it and make a wall of traps

    The horror, holy ****.

On a sidenote, played a game with some friends last night, he didn't change his Trap with an mistake and the enemy Gaslight Catwoman ended up buying Ra's.

He kept dropping an Trap where she would respawn, never seen a guy get more mad over an Stolen Power before.

But the fact is, all other Stolen Powers are just better to pick up compared to Trap, it's only really good if you 5-man premade and you plan out where you want to plant them.

Issue is still the duration it stays on the field though.

The only good thing about Traps is when somebody puts one right in the lane, you trigger it deliberately, then you and your lane partner nuke the hapless fool who thought moving in was a good idea when you get Trapped.

I can only see it being useful if you plan on playing a 1v2 lane and want to make a safety net of traps inside turret range to prevent dives...

Traps doesn't last long enough, 'nor do they have an Cooldown for you to make the net before one is close to disappear.

You don't spam them of course. Usually you feel a dive coming (see yourself at 30% hp and two enemies shoving the wave heavily for instance) and you can throw em down then until the wave clears, they suicide on your turret or your jungler comes to hold your lane while you back & replenish traps.

Did you even read? They do NOT last long enough, so you can't do that.

If time doesn't kill the traps, then the big circle of "DO NOT TOUCH ME" will.

They last longer than 10 seconds... And you only really need one so you can walk past it, resulting in the diver getting stuck in turret range.
